Absolute trash! Why would a bunch of Germans aspire to attend Oxford? It’s a German show, obviously filmed in Germany, not England, and it’s pathetically tailored for the teenage audience. What a waste of time!

Great idea and Alan Arkin is completely brilliant in his role. He was coached to speak Russian by a UN translator. Loved it. I wish they made films like this today. Highly recommended especially if you’re an Alan Arkin fan.

Loved the books, the tv series is excellent and Skarsgård is brilliant.

Excellent series with a light hearted approach and a bit of humour. Love the two main characters especially Jason Watkins who portrays Dodds wonderfully. It’s filmed in beautiful Bath too which is another reason to watch. I hope there will be many more seasons. Only 4 seasons so far and definitely not enough episodes. So wonderful to find something different for a change. I’m sick of most of the rubbish made these days. I even cut off my cable tv because there’s very little worth watching anymore. Big thumbs up for this gem.

This tv series suffers from a truly poor script and atrocious acting. I see the 5 star reviews and can’t believe they are serious. I think they are either from the brain dead that Hollywood writes most of its tv shows for or they are phony accounts from the show’s PR department paid to write good reviews. I found the show to be cringeworthy throughout and so frustratingly stupid on numerous occasions. I was shouting at the screen and had to give up after episode 2. Frankly, I’m not sure how I managed to watch two episodes of this awful show. Try “Bodyguard” tv series with Richard Madden and Keeley Hawes instead. It’s so much better than this twaddle.

Good idea for a show, but what an appalling script and the worst acting I’ve seen in anything, especially Malik and unfortunately the main Jamaican character. The other actors were ok. The acting and script is way too bad to be able to watch this show without extreme frustration.

Gerard Butler is an appalling actor. Terrible film. Ridiculous story. Waste of time for an intelligent person.

What a mess! Very poorly written and directed tv show. I love the Alex Cross books, but this tv series had a truly terrible script. Alex Cross’ detective partner constantly spouts the same personal “advice” for Cross in almost every scene together. It’s so annoying. It’s difficult to understand how this happened given the fine actors involved and the great books on which the series is based. The blame rests squarely on the scriptwriters, the directors and the tv company.

A truly dreadful film. Boring chase scenes that go on way too long, no real plot and Pitt and Clooney walked through the awful script. I have no idea why they would make such a film. Bad move for their careers. And it’s “wolves” not “wolfs.”
