Bought this game for PS4 thinking it was multiplayer like every other survival game out there. Ended up being single player which sucks. Suuuuper clunky gameplay, you can't pick up items without crouching and looking directly at the item on the ground. Button layout is way more complicated then it should be. Takes a good minute to find every item dropped when harvesting, provided most of them didn't fall through the map. Has the option to randomize the map, which seems cool, until it spawns you on an island that doesn't spawn all the needed trees and items to progress through the tutorial. Also the opening solution to water is coconuts, which don't actually hydrate you but give you diarrhea and DEHYDRATE you. Then it just doesn't tell you how to get ACTUAL water. Using the starting raft is definitely one of the most painful experiences of the game, ridiculously difficult to navigate and control. So when you try to sail to a different island and a shark screws with you enough, you just don't have a chance to get away. I played this game for probably a combined total of an hour before I had enough. Save your twenty dollars until it gets updated/fixed/finished.
