Rachel (Red)

Bad dialogue, trashy, lazy writing. Loses the epic feel of Willow with modern, teenage, coloqiual, Twitter-like nonsensical banter that does not suit the characters or the story. It comes off as though the actors are really bad at acting because the dialog is so poorly written. Excellent visuals and villains are invalidated by the poor dialogue that no doubt is meant to be "witty". It most definitely is not. The timeline is also botched. It's been over 30 years since the original cast and the children are all the same age Elora was born before Madmartigan and Sorcha got together so their children should be younger than Elora. Sorcha is 60+ while her daughter and son might be 20? It's ridiculous. All the children should be fully grown adults on their way to 40, not in the teens or early 20s having coming of age teenage sexual coming out parties. Do better next volume and get better writers.
