Just came out of the movie theater and the audience of New York could not stop clapping!! 👏👏 Massive respect to James Gunn for leaving so many sutlble nods to the current world events. The scene where a defenseless kid waves the flag for Superman in front of an army at the border gave me goosebumps because this is happening in real time for the past 2 years now. Movies should move you, and you should take a message home with you. The director beautifully delivered a message of peace and clearly exposed how war profits the rich coutries and leaves ruins for the poor. I watched the movie in an IMAX 3D format and it was totally worth it. Now this is my second favorite James Gunn movie, first of course is the Guardians of the Galaxy (Vol. 3)
