Half way through the film, you may be wondering why the two longtime friends have suddenly fallen out. The frequent reminder of the Troubles firing on the main land underpins all the madness of hate and war. Brilliant acting throughout peppered with black humour-filled dialogue and the escalating violence between once old friends kept the audience laughing, gasping and cringing at the same time. Martin McDonagh has pushed our buttons once again.
