I was born and raised in Baltimore (Dundalk) and saw this on Netflix as I was looking for something to watch. Being from Dundalk, I've seen my fair share of reality. I was also raised Catholic and went to The Catholic University of America in DC. I started watching the 1st Episode and could not stop watching. I realize it came out in 2017 and I am just watching in 2020. This was a really well made Documentary. Powerful, Terrible, Inspiring, Stunning. First, the courage of these women is breathtaking. I have nothing but admiration for their ability to not break and eventually find the ability to find some peace and thrive. We are once again introduced to a system that is propped up by corrupt and incompetent men and the few women who enable them. The men are immoral and stomach turning, and those that turn away and do nothing are unbelievably weak. The very Justice System that should protect these women continue to violate them and the Politicians are too weak to demand change. And of course, the curtain is once again pulled back on the Catholic Church and how it will do anything to protect itself, no matter how many bodies it has to walk over. Needless to say, I am no longer a Catholic and have not been for many years.
