This documentary is like a mad tea party. A completely one sided performance (the editor had an affair with the murderer, yuk) by a 2 time murdering narcissist and children that are lost and desperate for his attention. One son is a bomb making felon, the other seems to have the emotional intelligence of a 12 year old. Although, the documentary leaves this out. The adopted girls are riddled with anxiety. Throughout the documentary we watch Peterson revel in it being all about him, more importantly, about him being the victim. Key motive of being in significant debt and Peterson having life insurance on his wife is conveniently left out of the documentary. Then we see the unbelievable incompetence of the Justice System in North Carolina. People hired to perform blood splatter analysis with no education or training to perform such important work. Idiots who then train other idiots and it goes on for years. Mishandling of evidence. A prosecutor channeling Phyllish Schlafly raging against bisexuality like only those in the bible belt can do. A side note about this prosecutor. Sadly and tragically, she ends up working at a dry cleaners possibly due to her alcoholism and finally succumbs to it. The high powered, very expensive Defense Team doing everything it can to create reasonable doubt. Despite all of it, the 1st verdict is correct and justice is partially served. The murderer gets 8 years in prison and loses his wealth. The daughter of the victim wins a $25 million dollar lawsuit and the victims family fights hard for their sister/mother while the murderer and his lawyer make fun of their grief.
