I'm so disappointed in this show that I couldn't even finish it. I feel like the show targeted the wrong audience with its trailer.
From the trailer, it looked like it was going to be a k-drama like show with a sweet, introvert male lead and funny, outgoing female lead with some love triangle drama. But it ends up being just another western teen drama where the main lead is confused about who she is in love with. It's not like I hate such TV shows. For example, in 'Never have I ever', the relationship between Devi and Ben was so well developed, that towards the end of the first season, I was actually rooting for Ben. But in this show, none of the characters or relationships are well developed. Also, the female lead is absolutely terrible with zero redeeming quality. And the nicest character (Dae) ends up being heartbroken.
There are too many characters and sub plots. It's all very confusing, unnecessary and incoherent.
On top of that, I find it hard to believe that most of the main and supporting characters are homosexual or bisexual. Q's love story was cute and Yuri's story was necessary to the plot. But Kitty falling in love with Yuri was extremely random. I feel like the show was more interested in checking some boxes rather than actually creating an interesting show.
Very very disappointed.
