I have enjoyed many of Michael Lewis's books. Not this one. The subjects are beneath his writing and storytelling skills. The collection of "effective altruists" are nothing more than sleazy scam artists that manipulated financial markets in crypto exchanges for their own benefit. Generation Twitter, or more precisely, the Twit Generation is on full display. Mr. Lewis is a good investigator, so if this group had provided altruistic donations or services, I am sure he would have provided details of it. I did not read of any in this book and he gave them credit none the less. "EA" can be used to describe them, but should be spelled out as "Extraordinary A-holes". What a collection of whiners and misfits - none more the central charlatan - SBF. Have fun in jail Sam with your stuffed teddy bear. Will give you a lot of time to try and come up with a way to redeem your pathetic life with your hordes of stolen money.
Michael, you can do much better than wasting your time and your reader loyalty with such trash.
