So last week I didn’t even care about The Avengers series. And now I have to wash my face from all the crying. I knew Stark was going to die because I read about it last year, but besides just being attached to him and rest of the characters, I now see why it is the highest grossing film of all time. Such beautiful details, humor at its best, and so much heart and soul. I have always been a DC and a Batman fan but I thought wth, I’m still in quarantine let me give Marvel a chance. And now ... I regret not seeing them all in the theater. I am an idiot.

I know this is a bold statement but Mirzapur is the greatest crime show of all time.

Even 5 stars aren't enough for this piece of work. This is my first ever review I am leaving for any show and believe me... I have seen Mirzapur, The Family Man, Made In Heaven, Dahaad, and even Netflix shows like Delhi Crime... all of the mentioned at least twice and three times. So you can understand and imagine what kind of an audience talent pool I come from lol and my impeccable taste. Now let's get really serious. To say this is the most brilliant show to have ever been released in India, believe it or not, is an understatement. Raj & DK really have outshined and surpassed themselves. I love this show SO much, that I just finished watching all 8 episodes for the SECOND time in just 2 months after release. I've never watched something so soon so quickly. We'll talk about the brilliant acting in a minute but my God... the direction, the screenplay, the dialogues, the sweet moments, the humor, the emotions, the music/background score, and the character development. I have so much to say but at the same time I am speechless. Acting. The supporting actors all did a phenomenal job. Everyone from Nana and Chacha to the sidekicks/chamchaas lol. The mains: Vijay was mind blowing with his little nuances. KK is a masterclass. Raashi's eyes gave me goosebumps. Bhuvan Arora made me believe that true friendship, respect, and loyalty really do exist. Shahid Kapoor. Lol where do I even begin. He made my heart beat fast. Coming from Vivah to Jab We Met to Haider to Udta Punjab to Kabir Singh to (the much awaited and well deserved and long over due honor to be in a SLB film) Padmaavat to now this show. This guy is right alongside RK and Ranveer as the best actor in our country, hands down. Without giving too much away, the beautiful heart Sunny carries to the commitment towards his created family and his work to the ruthless menace he becomes (from his circumstances) at the end, this character was so well written by Raj & DK and my GOD did Shahid do justice to this character. I cried at the last 20 minutes of the last episode... not at what happened but more so of how its possible for a tv show to be THIS good. If "perfection" exists, its Farzi. Now let's hope season 2 isn't ruined like most shows. Raj & DK, how are you going to beat this? Don't mess it up for us or for yourselves. Take more time if needed , don't rush to write and be careful as you have the set the standards immeasurably high for yourselves. What a show. What a show. Bravo.
