Best movie of all time! Even better than Marvel's Avengers: The Infinity War and The Endgame! Best acting! Best cast! Best plot! The CGI is unbeatable! 100/100 would recommend it to anyone who believes that Hollywood is the lifeblood of our generation.

A disappointment by Vignesh Shivan. Misogynistic, Patriarchy and Sexism are the only words to describe the film. Why STR marries a London Tamil girl and expects her to act like a village bumpkin is beyond me.

The shades thrown were innumerable. Absolutely loved it.

The first half of the movie shows the lengths a father would go to avenge his son. The second half of the movie shows the lengths a father would go to protect his son from justice. Portrays the love between father and son, but also shows how women are always treated - abused, raped, harassed and assaulted. An excellent example of toxic fatherhood.

I've watched the Invisible Guardian, while not really that much of a fan of that Supernatural/Serial Killer/Melodramatic movie, I didn't really know that its sequel was out. That too on Netflix. So, I decided to watch Legacy of the Bones, even though I was a bit hesitant. Like it's prequel, this one also roused strange beliefs, cults and their worship. But failed to tie all of it's loose ends in the end. Again, the mother, Rosario Salazar, was treated as if she was the Mother of The Year. The sisters were unhelpful, James was a filler, Aunt Engrasi was an informer, Amaia was the one who shouldered it all from being a newborn's mother to detective of a case - a rather heavy case, indeed. Was slightly better than its prequel.

I was very much fascinated about the pagan secrets that this bleak town of Baztan had, that is the only reason why I streamed it on Netflix. The film was intriguing in the beginning. Teenage girls being murdered one after another and laid out in the forest, was something that made me very curious. But as the movie started progressing, it became quite abstruse. Family secrets, nightmares, mummy issues, pagan beliefs were all brought in. Not to mention torrid affairs, psychological hatred and murder attempts by one's cynic mother. I was rather incredulous about the way the protagonist's immediate family behaved with her whenever the topic of their mother ensues. That woman had attempted to murder the protagonist n number of times in her childhood and yet the family gets all cross with her when she said that she didn't want to meet her mother. Besides that, I was expecting all loose ends to, sort of, be tied up at the end. But it didn't. That disappointed me. Was expecting a bit more.
