The outlaws game is aightI wouldn't say I'm having a blast. It's like...uncharted, far cry, assassins creed, jedi fallen order, tomb raider, and a few other games kind of jumbled together.
The thing the game falls short on is the fact that doing missions are way too easy and not very in depth except the imperial invasion missions
It takes me maybe at max 5 mins to do everything except invading imperial strongholds.
I already maxed out my hutt campaign and pyke campaigns. I need crimson dawn and some new syndicate rep and I'll have all the secret unlocks
It's kinda like far cry where it's basically the same shit over and over and they reuse areas you already went too
It falls short of the immersive experience sadly. If they had developed this game for another 4 years, I would say it would probably be goty. I think they rushed it to the shelves so they could get on board before better star wars games arrived and to make a quick buck because their stock has been plummeting and don't want to be bought out by Tencent Tbh if I wanted a better experience I could play no man's sky or starfield because those games clearly have what this one is missing. I also think the characters could have used way more love and detail i really do believe they dumbed down a lot of the detail on characters so they could focus on world building which is fine if you're game was truly open world but it's not. It's more like kotor where it gives you a set of non linear areas to explore along with a bunch of optional side quests you can do. The only difference between this and kotor was that kotor loaded in different areas of the world rather than loading the whole "world" on a singularly large map. I think they also over estimate the distance of everything on the map for example i was doing a mission where i had to follow someone and it said i was 1 meter away when i was actually just inches. I think ghost recon breakpoint (another decent ubisoft game) had a better measure of distance as 2km would take you 3-5 mins to reach as this only takes you like a minute unless you're getting lost in the terrain of the map. Speaking of the map they could have made a much mlrs detailed map like skyrim but chose dabble with a kotor style map for cities and a jedi survivor/grey scale style skyrim map. It makes navigating cities easier sure but i would have liked to see some better detail in the map. Let me also say that the objective marker system is retarded why would i want to constantly press another button to see my objectives clearly stop trying to be unique it's inconvenient it was a bitch to deal with on breakpoint as well whoever came up with the idea is definitely on the list for the short bus.
