I would definitely recommend it as it shows society of that period 1930s, and how we are still facing similar problems and how people stood up. It is very refreshing, probably the earliest movie I watched.
Storyline is great, some actors are great, ashok kumar and devki rani totally rocked, however many other characters are played by non actors.
Even songs and music were better than I expected. Thank god there is no dancing:)
