Tales of Arise is a beautiful game. From the moment I dropped into the game the story hooked me. The world of Arise is beautiful. From the first region to the final boss area everything looks just jaw dropping. The characters are wonderfully written. The gameplay is the best I have played. I highly recommend this game. I want to see this game go for JRPG of the year. Easily one of the better games I played in a long time.

4/5 stars This is a really good game by Square Enix. I feel it can be the start of a Marvel video game franchise. The story is wonderful. It doesn't come off its MCU counterpart and that's what makes it orginal. The writers did a wonderful job telling the story from beginning to end. I have one thing to say. It was at midpoint when your introduced to the main bad. I feel there was a missed opportunity to get closer to the backstories to the other Guardians. But other than that the story is really good. Gameplay is good not great. This is a missed opportunity where we should have been given the opportunity to play as all the guardians because it does get repetitive playing as Starlord. Aside from that the gameplay is good and plays at a high performance. Graphics are really good. One of the best qualities. Every world feels unique in appearance. Make you want more from them. Performance of the game is top notch. Lip sync was on point the whole story besides one minor part at the end that isn't all that important. The game runs at a high pace. No Performance issues what so ever. Overall I give it to the developers for providing a good game. Really hoping we take the good things from here and just add on to make better games down the road. Wonderful experience.

A Mind Numbing Adventure I do not want to play a game like this again. I want SAO games to succeed but with awful games like this it's so hard. You shouldn't spend 60 hours doing the same stuff over and over again. It's drives a person insane. Matter of fact it's the definition of insanity. Help this person. Help that person. Find the clamp. Destroy big clamp. Get the barrier down. Fight the boss. 5 different styles of cutscenes. Head to home base for more cutscenes. Disband party and repeat. What the hell SAO? This developer should not be allowed to touch your games anymore. Period. Not to mention the immersion breaking parts. Why give us create a character if we are just going to play as Kirito 24/7? Takes away from the story. Choose to go all in with Kirito or CAC already developer. I recall by end game I just wanted the story to end. If I were to describe this game shortly it's mind numbing.
