Weirdly, this hits you with some old-school nostalgia, the same kind of vibes you got from your first exposure to anime from adult swim in the early 2000's. Wish more anime felt like the way this one does, it doesn't try to be cutsie either. My biggest gripe is the plot and humor felt a bit dry at times.
