Contrary to Julia’s beliefs this movie starts HORRIBLY. And slowly gets better from there. I wasnt expecting pacific rim visuals or monsters because that’s a legendary creator and director - Guillermo Del Toro. The opening scene is absolutely ridiculous with the shell and I’ll get you water after causing massive bleeding…. Ridiculous from the lowest of lows all we can do is go up. Pacing is phenomenal. Sound is amazing listen at 50+ volume if possible; sound design was taken very serious for this. And the rest have fun. It’s a movie. It’s great, but do not let anyone tell you the opening is good… tasteless 💅
