Heston and Peck were both great actors in the movie. Burl Ives was a bad guy but played by gentleman rules. Big cattle country and as always a fight over water . Carol baker played the little Rick, spoiled girl. Jean Simmons gets Peck in the end. After a couple of shoot outs all turns out well. And that was the West!
