High energy period piece with memorable characters. A fun ride and I hope it gets another season!

I consider this a great 'dark souls lite' experience, especially if you can get it on a discount. It has the same checkpoint mechanics, where you have your health and ammo / healing restored at checkpoints, but this respawns all enemies in the map. This game is also a great 2 or 3 player co-op experience. Only issue I have is also shared with several other reviews - weird clipping, enemies (even bosses) sometimes getting stuck on geometry making it super cheesy to clear, and for some reason the map from expansion Subject 2923 makes my PC sound like a fighter jet, suggesting that it's not as optimised as the rest of the game.
