It does well for trying to emulate the Tolkienesque-ancient-ambiance of "The Silmirillion" but I feel it is pulled-off more Hollywood, which actually makes it really entertaining.
I like going into and seeing the everyday lives' of "the different peoples of Arda" during The Second Age of Arda and the sets are absolutely exquisite. I am so happy I get to see a television/movie series about "The Silmirillion" finally, as an adult. This is my new go-to streaming series.
