Absolutely loved this novel! I don't normally go for such big books, I'm a slow reader so takes me forever to finish something. But I raced through this, couldn't put it down and the family at the core of the saga are still with me weeks after finishing it. Interestingly written, partly in the second person and the final chapter goes from a canter to a full speed sprint.
Don't be put off by the magnitude of the book, it will draw you in very quickly and take you from past to present in such a clever way. You can't help but have feelings for all of them.
