The acting is over the top, especially Beverly and Barry. The situations are sometimes far fetched. But what really irks me, as someone who grew up in the 80s, is that some of the expressions they say are not from the 80s. They're from 2020. Especially when Erica says "OK that is not a thing" or "I just can't with this". The one redeeming thing about this show is Pops (RIP George Segal). His talent was wasted on this show.
