Yeah all the negative reviews on here are done by people who aren't true fans of the game. The only bad thing is the "non-lethal" takedown, Give the game time, you can customize your gear. you can upgrade your rifle to have a suppressor and there is plenty of options to acquire sub-sonic ammunition (for all those who complained about being target after shooting). I think adding the sound targeting gives you an actual more realistic approach. In older generations the enemies were dumber to a degree, like pigeons. I could perch up high after stocking up with suppressed ammunition and take out half the bad guys in a matter of minutes. And you would just see the bad guys running to a coded program that was predictable. I haven't noticed that with SE5. I have perched up and taken out half the bad guys on the board in SE5 and the bad guys targeted me and forced me to relocate despite not hearing the shot. Basically the bad guys got smarter and work together to flush you out, almost like real life. The bad guys are less predictable in comparison to older SE. The game is more challenging to the "stealth" aspect but any real SE fan can handle the challenge and not complain on an open public forum like a little school girl.
