Spiritbox is a band that balances atrociously heavy breakdowns and borderline goth-Pop anthems on a razor sharp edge. Pop lovers listen to Spiritbox and end up appreciating Metalcore and other modern Extreme Metal sub genres. Metalheads listen to Spiritbox and end up appreciating the catchy hooks and melodies of Popular Music. Will this band finally bring Extreme Metal to the mainstream? Probably not. But they will further evolve the adaptable and immortal genre of Metal. 9/10.
