This movie was God Awful, the antagonist was pathetic and the farcical humour was over the top. Thor is portrayed as an imbecile, while Natalie Portman is portrayed as an instant super hero. Disney has ruined the Marvel franchise by superimposing their politically correct views on it The White male is pathetic, while the female, gay and non whites are fantastic. It's good that the representation is improving in film, but don't do it at the expense of other cultures. The only good scene in this movie was at the end, where the kids get their God like powers and wipe out the shadow creatures. Although this was totally incongruent with Thor's pathetic abilities in the rest of the movie. If Thor could do this, he should have been to defeat the God killer earlier, but then we would have had a 30 minute movie. The other good scene at the end was Natalie Portman's sacrifice, as it was touching, and we won't have to see her again. I was going to say that I won't be watching anymore Taika Waititi films, but I actually enjoyed some of his other films, except Green Lantern of course.
