This book lives rent free in my head thanks to its poignant depiction of found family. Thanks to its depiction that people can do what’s right for them, what’s healthy for them, even when it may outwardly seem contrary to to their loyalties.
I am also a big fan of the esoteric nature of the queen of days as well as the antagonist, there is a lot of information that goes unexplained and that is okay. The lack of information adds to the mystique and garners further interest.
I, for one, am looking forward to the sequel.
