This movie had me a very high expecations, especially as a minecraft fan/player itself since 2016. I could 100% be sure that this movie made my day happy and more silly. Its not only me who is expressing this but all the people in the cinema studio with me peaked comedy, especially that one scene where the villager and that one old woman had their romance story throughout the movie. Very good cgi to represent minecraft (duh). This movie made me if i became a silly 7 year old again. Unfortunately, I had to take one star off from it. Why? Because the character's acting were bad.

This was a nightmare for me for 2 whole nights. Before, i would have never been scared of a horror movie. UNTIL this movie proved why i was wrong. This masterpiece had me rethink about my religious beliefs. The character development of the characters were absolutely excellent. This movie really peaked my curiousity, there was a scene of the washing machine where i got horrified but still really wanted to see it. ABSOLUTE chills.

Fortunately, very thrilling and nail-biting. My friend held my hand as hard as he can because how horrified he was through the climax points of the movie. Never in my lifetime in a cinema being so flabbergasted until I watch this masterpiece. This movie really shows a dream can be achieved by teamwork, passion, and determination with our hard work yet being part of the contribution, the character development of the main characters truly proved this. Sound effects were absolutely magnificent, really boosting the adrenaline in the crowd. Graphics were also smooth and very splendid. The plot twist is mind changing to the crowd, loved it. Unfortunately, the characters are kind of unrealistic. Hayes being arrogant and clumsy really proved why it is so, well of course the unrealistic behavior of Hayes is also considered why this movie is unique, Hayes's behavior at the starting of the movie showed interesting moments yet unrealistic. Acting is also a small problem here, when Hayes and Joshua acted angry they somehow did it a little bit unrealistic and did not brought strong emotions to the movie. Lacked emotional depth a little bit.

Plot was kinda suitable for fantasy movies. The visual effects looked cool but not realistic, or so i can say the CGI was incredibly terrible for a movie made in 2025. Better if they made this into an anime instead of a live action. It felt like they put all different scenarios and simplify it into a single big scenario but with a slight off improvisation, especially that one scene where the civillians begged for coins was so fast. Seeing Jisoo in this movie was amazingly surprising but she lacked the screen time she deserved.

This film is a disappointment. The prologue and the cause of the attack of the majority was barely explained throughout the movie. Edwin's purpose on his way through the schools was to find his nephew. He was aware that all of his family members were amazing at drawing, this truly shows the laziness of the writer of the movie. They could have used alternatives that will bring emotional depth instead of unnecessary perspective to know who is Edwin's nephew. As we know, Edwin thought one of his students that was good at drawing was his nephew, in the end he was wrong it was actually the leader of the gang. They were in a locked situation for a long period of time which brought boredom to the crowd. On the other hand, this movie is straight up a horror game as if you were put in it. The gore and brutality of the actions traumatized me really bad. The adrenaline of the movie saved the boredom of this movie.
