The story could have been told in 4/5 episodes.
The interesting thing, as in the original ,was the Jackal and his ingenious methods to carry out the perfect assassination etc
The boring drivel is the Mi6 operative who is a part time housewife and mum and a part time all action hero chasing the Jackal throughout Europe.
It didn't work
It was poorly written and so obvious a storyline that you have seen it a million times now.
The actress playing the Mi6 operative is also an Executive producer on the show which tells you who the writers were trying to keep happy.
The Jackal was portrayed in the original as a lone wolf who was meticulous in his preparation.
This Jackal starts out that way and then starts to drift into amateurism.
A real chance missed here
Not worth spending 9/10 hours of your life on.
