Al Bolosan

Very good adaptation of the Avatar cartoon. I’m glad it didn’t fully stick to the original, which was geared toward children. It’s visually stunning. the outfits, set design, cgi—all top notch. The storyline flowed well, the young actors weren’t all perfect, but average to better than average. After so many years after the cartoon signed off, having a live action ATLAB is a treat indeed.

Reacher is a beast in this film. Very different from Tom cruiser’s portrayal in his two theatrical movies. To me, the Pacing of the film was just a bit slow at times. But not a big issue. All in all, good thriller mystery without any extra stylized and superficial theatrics, cgi, or gimmicky sequences like so many series coming out the past few months. It’s a just some Solid story telling with an engaging lead, a watchable cast, and some shocking brutality in the action scenes. I’ll be expecting season 2 to be even better.

Nice family show. Great chemistry among the cast.
