I don't see why people don't like this movie. It kept me completely immersed since the opening seen great acting by Bullock and the children. Its not slow paced it grabs you and pulls you in until the last-minute it is a must watch for creative people with imaginative minds I like that you don't see the creatures because it let's you make the monster your own worst nightmare. However that has been the biggest thing people have critiqued.
