The very modern narrative of the class struggle of Korean sub-culture of a low income family trying to plan their way out of poverty by trickery...as clever as it is diabolical. Their young son & daughter manipulate a wealthy young couple whose 2 spoiled younger kids need tutoring...but that's not the half of it. Plot twists & turns veer increasingly toward horrific scenes of mayhem...this is the QTarentino ending avoided in his screenplay of the Manson murders, with some Asian myticism thrown in for a spiritual salvation that fails to be the family's saving grace.
