I was a little disappointed with the weak story line. A grand cast of whos who's appeared . Lots of talented actors getting small parts which was a shame. Brian Mosely, Kathy staff, Leonard rossiter had very small parts ,where the whole of the movie was centered around alan bates and his girlfriend june Richie...very slow moving . Thora hird played the mother in law who put bates in his place. Just being a protective mother really. Bates ( Vic) was a drunken pig with no real feelings for his girlfriend and only married her because she got pregnant. He soon regretted his marriage proposal gesture when he moved into his mother in law's home. Nice early 60's backdrop though. James bolam and jack smithurst played his course work mates

Best cage movie since face off. Cage plays a boring humdrum professor in suburban America where through no fault of his own enters people's dreams, rather like a boring Freddie Kruger. He embraces his fame by trying to promote and publish his boring book. However things take a turn for the worse when his dreams turn into nightmares for the dreamers thus making him unpopular throughout his life, despite being totally blameless. His wife and family find their lives also turned upside down along with the professor.

This movie dragged on far too long with so many confusing characters,it was hard to tell who was who .....first it was Oppenheimers affiliation to a communist party, then it was who was spying for the Soviets and if he was guilty or not ( after the war)... The highlight was Florence Pugh baring her breasts.....doesn't live up to the hype...( Movie, not the breasts)... Lots of flashbacks /present/ slightly in the future and post war clips..colour and blaxk and white.. good cast ...wasted though..should have seen Barbie.

Gerald butler excels in another Gerald butler movie. Totally unconvincing Scottish accent is helped by the usual thrills and spills of Butler as he does best

Hanks finds yet again another heartjerker. In a nutshell, Otto ( hanks) loses his wife through cancer and decides through his pain and anguish that he wishes to join her. He tries various means as which to kill himself, but everytime he is thwarted by kind well meaning neighbours and strangers. Through his misery he endures, but eventually realises that life really is worth living through the kindness and love of his friends and neighbours. ( Think Ricky Gervais in "Afterlife".

Not the biggest fan to be honest. A very simple story about a woman who has been spurned by a very rich suitor Mr Malcolm due to his ten requirements on his list for a possible match. Julia falls short. She seeks "revenge" by asking old school chum to learn all of Mr Malcolm's list and become a match but then to spurn him with a list of her own. Unfortunately during this test , Selena starts to fall in love with man and change her mind upsetting Julia in the process. The costumes and scenary are beautiful and the casting seems fair.however I'm not sure how many Chinese,Indians and Africans of high standing were around in 1817.It just doesn't appear accurate.

Just watched this prequal to the conjuring and annebelle..Its not often I watch a horror movie where I am totally mesmerized from start to finish 128 minutes of pant pooping,, with some great directing and acting from some genuine unknowns. Ed and Lorraine Warren go to England to check out the factual case of The Enfield haunting. Loosely based on the book " my house is haunted" The Warren's investigate the claims that A family are being haunted in their suberbon semi detached in 1977. Watch this with the lights on.

Thought I'd be disappointed. I wasn't wrong. After JC's 1 and 2 it could only go downhill. Totally devoid of ideas and run out of steam. Creepers terrorising the neighborhood, our creepy friend picks out more victims in a seemingly frenzied fashion. Coming out after 23 years to eat, but he never seems to do that apart from kill. Some amazing accuracy from our devilish friend seems over the top even for this . I award this movie zero skulls out of ten .
