My first Unger and I was disappointed as there were too many characters ( the “sleeps 6” and least 4 more) requiring tiresome jumping back and forth among them. Impatient readers will either quit or just skip to the end to find out whodunnit! The use of DNA deserves praise for a creative twist. Otherwise the book requires perseverance to finish . Given the convoluted plot , I cannot even surmise what an audio version would do to a listener’s engagement.
Not a positive introduction to an obviously prolific and popular writer. She deserves another try.
