This was such a wholesome delight to experience on the big screen. As usual, Dhanush nailed the middle-class boy role which he has played down to a T. Nithya Menen however has outshone in every instance throughout this film. Bharathiraja and Prakash Raj are immaculate in their respective roles as well. Anirudh's music is the backbone of this film, be it the songs or BGM, he has absolutely elevated the film superbly. This is the story of Thiru who lives with his father & grandfather, in a middle-class family, working as a delivery boy. The plot follows how he navigates life, finds love, and experiences heartbreaks, all with the help and support of his best friend Shobana. Ignore the negative reviews, take your family to the theatres and enjoy this wholesome family entertainer...trust me when I say you will never stop smiling throughout the movie and leave with a light heart. ❤❤❤

In short, "This movie is about Shardul (a closeted gay man) and Suman (a closeted lesbian woman) who enter into a marriage of convenience to get their families off their backs and live a life they have always wanted. This of course gives rise to various problems as each one falls in love with different partners and how they handle their demanding and unaccepting families forms the rest of the story" This movie was absolutely remarkable and painful to finish. Although it starts off as a romantic comedy, the movie beautifully handles the various stigma and scrutiny society puts on LGBTQIA+ individuals. I am very elated that sexuality is a theme that is being explored more vastly in Indian cinema which was honestly long overdue. This one will keep you absolutely invested up till the end, for which I was an absolute blubbering mess. Ramkumar and Bhumi were so brilliant and believable in their roles. The songs perfectly captured the emotions all the lead characters were experiencing and were just so beautifully composed. Do give this one a try as it's an absolute gem not to be missed. #I wish and pray for a more accepting world in the near future# #PRIDE

This movie is nothing without its spectacular soundtrack and background score composed by Jerry Goldsmith...The music is one of the main reasons I keep rewatching it over the years...Not to mention the narration by Oded Fehr which sets the whole mood for the film. This movie is definitely the best of the whole series with its unforgettably spooky characterization of Imhotep, its fast-paced storyline, and memorable characters. A must-watch for fans of Egyptian mythology like myself!

This was a decent anthology themed about the 9 main rasas (emotions), with some of the stories managing to captivate while the others fall flat. Edhiri - This was a letdown as it had such a promising premise and boasts so many acting giants like Prakash Raj, Vijay Sethupathi and Revathi who were not used up to their full potential. This could have been so much more with its premise about revenge,guilt and regret. Summer of '92 - For a film that was supposed to be themed about laughter, this was another letdown as the only funny moment was at the very end. Otherwise, this was just an OK story about a well known actor returning to his old school, reminiscing his teen years. Project Agni - This was soooo good. It will leave you with a similar amazement as of watching a full-length science fiction film. Karthick has explored so many complex subjects like the higher power, and our subconscious, in a short film, with such fluency without making it seem cluttered. Arvind Swamy is phenomenal as always. Payasam - This is easily a skippable story as I kept waiting for something to happen until the very end. I felt like the storyline chosen to depict the 'Disgust' rasa, was not suited. Probably, the way Aditi's character as a widow was being treated by her relatives would have better suited the rasa. Peace - With an amazing storyline depicting the war-torn Eelam and a promising array of actors, this story is also one to look out for. Roudhram - Why hasn't Arvind Swamy dabbled in the field of directing before because this was such a visual treat. This was easily one of my favorites for the thought-provoking dialogues about women's liberation, natural acting performances, and that twist at the end. Inmai - Another favorite! This horror will definitely surprise you with its subtle twists. Amazing performances by Sid and Parvathi who showcase the rasa perfectly. Thunintha Pin - This one could also have been explored so much more with its unique plotline which backdrops the Indian army and Naxalites. This story would have been appreciated more if Anjali was given more screentime. A decent story. Guitar Kambi Mele Nindru - Honestly, I think this was the most awaited story of the anthology after the release of the trailer but to me, it was such a letdown as it is the same recycled story Gautham Menon always serves us with. This follows a love story between Surya, a musician and a singer played by Prayaga, who try their best to keep the story engaging.The only highlight is the phenomenal music by Karthick in this otherwise forgettable flick. All aside, this anthology will definitely be a thirst quencher for those of us stuck quarantined at home in this pandemic. Definitely give this a try and judge for yourselves guys. Stay safe everyone! =D

It was extremely difficult for me to finish this series, as it was so heartbreaking to even imagine what these young men went through. It is truly terrifying to think of how many other innocents have been convicted, beaten and killed based on racial prejudice. This was an eye opening drama based on The Central Park Five, their wrongful conviction and subsequent exoneration. Definitely give this a try if you haven't. Kudos to Ava DuVernay for this excellent story.

I was surprised to see the bad reviews for this documentary as I found it to be quite informative. It allows for a different view of one of the most notorious serial killings and the incidents that could have taken place. We can choose to believe the cult involvement theories or not, but it certainly is interesting to watch every meticulous evidence Terry put together in all those obsessive years of investigation. The only thing that bothered me was the use of Paul Giamatti to narrate the story as if it were from the first person point of view, which made it seem slightly fictitious for a documentary. Otherwise, it was an excellent and informative documentary.

Truly an exhilarating, frustrating, and overwhelming courtroom drama...And I think it was a befitting movie to be released during current times. Certain scenes were honestly haunting and stuck with me even after the movie ended and that is how I usually know I've watched something truly eye-opening. Very memorable performances from the entire cast. A must-watch for everyone. =D

This movie pleasantly surprised me in many ways. Even though there is no clear reasoning for the explored storyline, this movie definitely will keep you on the edge of your seat. I especially enjoyed it as I love movies with a central theme of group survival, so this did not disappoint. Ignore the bad reviews and watch the movie yourself to judge. =D
