Is Disney blatantly trying to get kids to rebel against parents? Do they think telling children to lie, sneak out and to put friends before family is a good moral lesson to teach? This “coming of age” film portrays 13 year old kids as competent decision makers who know how to handle themselves. Not that those decisions will get these kids in trouble and that it is still the parent’s responsibility to clean up the mess they have created. I don't recommend this movie. What I learned from watching this film is that I will do research before watching any so called "kids" movie to avoid garbage like "Turning Red".
