Fantastic Beasts is like a childrens family movie. I dislike the non seriousness that is put into these films. It looks like a film that was made by Disney. The Harry Potter films were much darker and unerving than these films which is surprising because I would have thought these films would equal to the harry potter movies in terms of serious events and the over feel of the movies. Towards the end of the last Harry Potter movies they were dark and in adult like situations, so I would have thought being this an adult casted movie the situations and feeling of events would feel much the same if not even more serious but they aren't. There's background music in nearly every scene which takes away the suspenseful feel of the movie. In harry potter there didn't need to be background song it made it raw and authentic especially with the camera angles, and the acting was so much better. This movie looks like a bunch of actors that are just playing dress up. And theres too much spfx! Why does there need to be a spark coming out of their wand in every scene, there doesn't have to be. The Harry potter movies were just overall better in general. They really need to look at why they were so much better and compare the movies and their past work. Just make them feel Raw and Authentic please. None of this bipity bopity boo! Stuff. They're adults. I don't even understand why its so sugar coated for children.. the harry potter films were for children too and they were much darker than this stuff.
