Jasmine “Jaz” Lawson

As a Bob Marley music lover but someone who knows NOTHING about his life I was EXTREMELY excited to see this movie and learn about his him and his journey, but I was left with more questions than answers. I'll start with the plus side; Learning about how he just wanted love not hate regardless of who u are or what u look like was heartwarming! He was an INCREDIBLE man who's life was sadly cut WAIT too short! I went with my boyfriend and we sadly didn't understand a lot of it! Like the guy on the horse, was that a true thing, a dream, a metaphor? Also who was he, his dad? Then his family going to the U.S. him going to London then all of a sudden his wife is with him in London out of the blue, then at the end his kids were in Jamaica again? Plus I CANNOT be the only one who needed subtitles!! Love love the accent but I couldn't understand 80% of it. And I was a bit disappointed with the lack of songs 😕 I will try to give it another chance with subtitles when it comes out on Netflix or Hulu or something like those, maybe I'll get it more idk? I enjoyed the guy who played Bob he did a FANTASTIC job but I would of preferred Ziggy!! Speaking of, LOVED what Ziggy said in the beginning 💙
