Late to the game watching this one Episodes are about an hour long and there are 9 parts. It explores the aerial wars of WWII through the enlisted men of the Mighty Eighth Air Force of the United States Army Air Forces. If your into war history dramas this is a good one! I’m pretty picky about war movies or shows and I really enjoyed this one. Towards the end it gets a little slow, but overall it kept us engaged and dying to know how it ends! It definitely makes you feel things. It’s crazy that these men actually had to do this. To get on these planes knowing they are basically sitting ducks on these missions is a wild thought! I wouldn’t have the balls to do it! The acting is great, it’s not cheesy. Visually it’s amazing! Not a lot of romance so it’s not mushy. The heart of the movie is about what these men went through and I appreciate that! In the end it shows pictures of some of the men and when what they went on to do and I love that. For me it gets 4 outta 5 paper bags rating!
