I watched the film in its entirety. There's nothing cursed about the film. I gave one star because of the concept of satanism being overplayed vastly in this film, it's almost the only focus and shadows over the main story. The storyline is good but I felt it was missing so much detail to the main plot that it was just empty.
During the period when the original film took place in the real world, it was an era of the satanic panic. Films like this and the Exorcist were banned for religious reasons, so it's not a surprise this film had a lot of unfortunate real world problems surrounding it/banning of distribution attention time.
This film is full of random frequencies, demonic sigils and altered changes in sounds, meant to alter your psychological state. The movie itself ends with a sigil that is believed by multiple satanic cults to conjur whatever demon you're exposed to, in this case its Asteroth. There are many acts of abominations, including a few scenes with sacrifice to Manoch, murder, suicide and beastiality. I wouldn't recommend this film if you're a religious person or a spiritual one because you will be sensitive to content. But if you're a free thinker like me and curious about the use of frequencies and conspiracy type topics surrounding it, this is one of those hidden gems. Other than that, the film kinda blows sadly.
