I can't believe the negativity I am reading. Some of you are too analytical. It is a T.V. show for entertainment purposes. Do we need to use real doctors or patients? No. The fact that Freddie Highmore is ACTING the part of an autistic person is fantastic because it shows that in general, they have the potential to be a part of society with a career. If they used a real autistic person, it could be extremely difficult, if not impossible to make a show.
