Donโt let the people say that this movie means something lie to you. Itโs not symbolic of much, other than confusion. Itโs a collage of cutscenes that add nothing to the main story. Characters that donโt even exist take up a large part of screen time. It does show how damaging postpartum depression can be, especially in a bad relationship. But thatโs still grasping at straws. Anyone that says this movie is a โmust watchโ or a fantastic film, are pretentious and are the same people that the movie โthe menuโ was making fun of. Itโs a couple hours of mumbo jumbo. The only positive is that Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson are as good as theyโve ever been if not better. The acting is amazing, but itโs for nothing
EDIT: I wrote the first part legit with 30 minutes left hoping the end would tie it all together and it be great. Nope. Just a kaleidoscope of scenes fused together that make no sense to any plot other than sheโs crazy. It makes you think for a few minutes that all is well. Nope again, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me for spending money on this movie. Iโve never been more excited to see credits at the end. Nothing came together
