Visually appealing, intellectually lacking. The acting was stiff and dialog flat for most of it. I actually like the overall plot differences but am flabbergasted at some of the small detail changes. It seems like they wanted to make the show still have the feel of an animated show but that does not translate well to real life. Set designs and costumes are pristine when they shouldn't and characters stand too long in awkward positions. I'd rather have seen them take a bit more liberty in changing the feel of scene by letting the actors be more lifelike. At this point I think we should just refrain from further attempts at making a live action adaptation of something that was perfect as an animated series. I'd much rather see new live action content within the avatar universe.
