Story is utter garbage. The first game was great, but this is just a stinky slap in the face.
Joel, who was a man that was supposed to survive for 10 years or so, suddenly trusts strangers and gets kneecapped, and then beaten to death.
The scene was terribly played out. No amount of Troy Baker defending this can rectify how poorly written this was.
Spoiler not spoiler: Ellie let's Joel's killer go at the end of the game. The entire game was pointless. Joel died for nothing.
