This movie is brilliant. Not for someone who is looking to be entertained for the night with some light laughs and special effects ect. Every scene in this movie has purpose and it is up to the viewer to watch closely and decipher what the message is. It is a critical commentary on societal values, social structures, power imbalances and ultimately who’s version of reality is “the true version” The music throughout is hauntingly beautiful and deserves an award nomination for that alone. One really does not know what the outcome is going to be until the very end and it could have gone in many directions. The conclusion was very realistic and satisfying and honestly could not have been done better. The most intelligent movie I have watched this year.
