Well it seems to the author everyone with a less then philocaly outlook on things is in the wrong I have listened to the book in full and the seems to be the narrative.

It ended with Star and Marco dead the two dimensions being made one is to be interpreted as an afterlife thing that is one of the first fan theories I have ever come up with. The whole show was a death allegory all nine seasons of that kids show that is what it was.

It never went anywhere her fear of where Murphy's law isn't irrational making the moral about choosing to be happy anyway. Anyway this is part of the reason I hate the show (Milo Murphy's Law.) No one in the movie died as a result when it should have gone that way.Also you clearly see the people in that family are only accident pron because of Murphy's law they have 20/20 vision and stuff.
