I am a life long Godzilla fan, and this film blew me away! Getting to see this in IMAX was an experience like no other. I believe it is definitely a contester for best Godzilla movie, if not best kaiju film. The film had me so engaged emotionally, I even cried four times with this one and I rarely get that emotional watching movies! There are also amazing moments where this movie feels more like a horror film. Godzilla Minus One makes so many bold choices that always work out to create an incredible story. The action was awesome and this Godzilla has some personality which is great. I do wish that he had more screen time, although that being said he is definitely very active in the film. Being set in Japan immediately after WWII with the main character being a kamikaze pilot, this movie has a strong message. I am glad to say that I give Godzilla Minus One a 10/10!
