It was funny mostly when Bill and Ted were on screen. The Robot was hilarious and so were the other characters. The daughters seemed like nice girls but the formula didn't work.
Ted's daughter had exaggerated movements like her dad but coming from a female human body, it didn't look as funny. It's funny for Ted because guys have a more grounded, solid, and a naturally masculine stance. The goofy movement is a play on masculine body anatomy. With women and girls, the body's more curvy, light and feminine. The goofiness doesn't work because the opposite comical play of their bodies' movements is not like Ted's. It looks like she is putting in extreme effort into the postures and she looks very uncomfortable when doing so. Bill's daughter had her moments but for the most part, she felt kinda bland. I liked her facial expressions more as well as how her humor was written.
I think Bill's daughter works but Ted should've had a son. That way if you want to do the feminism thing just make Bill's daughter gay and like the smarter of the two or something.
