This is a hilarious show that needs another channel to pick it up for a third season, which had been planned for. Great writing - if you read up on the real Stede Bonnet and Blackbeard you will notice a few jokes that are references to historical incidents involving both of them. They also manage to get in some cracks at modern stuff. It is all very subtly done. I will also say that I don't usually find visual gags amusing but the ones here are laugh out loud funny. The cast have great chemistry. The costume designer(s) and set creators have done a fantastic job.
