I enjoyed the movie even though it didn't show everything the Padre went though in his life. The movie is called Padre Pio so you would want to see his life story. Shia did a very good job with his role. The socialism plot was very educational, given the era it covered was very well portrayed. Greed and social economic issues seem to repeat it self in this world wich shows that we humans never learn from our past, and shows how corrupt politics continue to scream fraud when things don't go their way. But the story of Padre Pio is a real and very current one. This is a story that I would expect to read in the Bible. To read about what he endured to help save the souls of all humanity, to take the punishment and emotional pain of every soul on the planet is a true test of faith, empathy and selflessness. I have nothing but respect and admiration for Padre Pio. It is something that I could never imagine that could really happen in the 20th century.

Its entertaining, reading the bad reviews on here, makes me realize one thing, That people still think movies and shows are real. Its laughable because I have to tell my children all the time that movies and shows are not real, that maybe 10% has some truth to it but the rest is all entertainment or else no one would watch it. So get a grip 1, 2, 3 star reviewers. Again, the series is Entertaining, story line can use some improvements, good humor. It's the 1st season so hopefully it gets better. LA is a big city so this only captures life in a small community. It seems to focus alot on the bond of 3 generations of the family, and now a days 3 generations tend to be out of touch with each other. Good watch. And as far as the iPhone X on the series is concerned, I'm gonna say her girlfriend bought it for her.
