I loved this book I watched the show and fell in love with the families and was curious about the book and what things may or may not have been included in the show. I started the book and couldn't put it down it went in so much detail some things were different some were the same. I loved and cared for both of the mothers and their different ways of raising children all of the tough choices that sometimes have to be made. I wish Elena would have learned to love the unique way Izzy approached life she was a sensitive and very in touch with the pain and hardships that some people are face with. All children are not going to be a like we have to embrace what makes them different and encourage the fight in them so they can stand alone strong and confident in their life choices. Very good book and great job on casting for the show!

This sisters bond was amazing and unbreakable even though they had so many challenges along the way. The father heart was so broken after his wife and the kids mother died it was sad to read. His love was gone toward his children as soon as his wife left the earth exception of one daughter. The daughter that needed it the most he completely ignored and dismiss her at every victory in her life all she wanted was to hear I am proud of you. The loved shared between the youngest daughter and the true rancher was unbelievable the intensity and the longing was what every one wants and prays for in life. The book was a page turner this is the second book I have read by this author and will continue to read her work she has a way of setting the tone and making you see and feel what she is writing about a must read! Great Job.

I didn't want to put the book down it felt like I was in France dealing with war and hardship. Hating Hitler and his followers how cruel they were to all people. This book was very well written you could feel yourself begging for a happy ending for all the main characters. You will cry you will yell Why! One of the best books I have read in years!

I loved it didn't want to put the book down I have read the book three times and every time I love it more. Great story I love how close the family is and the traditions that are passed down and treated with respect

A great movie showing Martin Luther King as a child and growing up to be the great man we remember. I recall as a young girl with my family watching this movie year after year in January. Now and later in my childhood life they stop playing the movie wish I knew why my children need to see it you can't find it anywhere. I have searched and prayed for some network to start playing this movie again it needs to be seen and celebrated.
