I really enjoyed this movie. I get how some might find it confusing or without a plot. I feel as if movies that fall into the realm of cosmic horror can come across as being a mash-up of interesting but unrelated ideas. But, of course, this is just me, I feel like all of the connective tissue is there. I think other movies in this kinda niche genre definitely do it better, but I appreciate what is here. I enjoyed the performances. All the characters started off broken and became more and more fractured and disconnected. The reality of the characters had been touched by something unfathomable and everything began to unravel. And i felt like what comes across as "a bad movie with no plot" was intended to be seen as everything coming undone. As the movie follows one characters perspective, we see things as he sees them. We see the hallucinations. We see him falling apart. See, I feel as if the strange pacing and disconnect might've been intentional.
Anyways, that's what I got from it and that's why I enjoyed it. I've definitely seen worse movies but I commend this one for the weird ish it has brought to the table.
