After reading some reviews I was little skeptical, but once started didn't feel like breaking for a moment.
Impeccable writing, characters described beautifully and couldn't guess the killer till disclosed. Very engaging and satisfying read.

Worst detective story, boring, no reason/backstory for people doing crime. Detective not using his brains largely, unnecessary love angle.. Worst part copying SHERLOCK in such cringe way

I am used to reading agatha Christie, sherlock Holmes, byomkesh bakshi for crime novels, and loved it.
So tried a indian contemporary indian crime fiction, it's slow, very predictable. Cop is typical like what we see in indian web series. Story written for movie adaption unnecessary sub plots on extra marital relationship or history of an old friend adds no meaning to story. Wherever story picks little pace unnecessary adultry angles are asserted. It's like watching sleazy Hindi crime movie.
It might entice people who love to read saucy crime thrillers, but I didn't like it.

Very refreshing movie, though I am neither fan of Sonam Kapoor nor liked her in film, but appreciate her to tell this story by playing this role. Rest movie is good, don't make same sex a comedy and is portrayed in best way possible. Kudos to story writer, Director, Rajkumar Rao, Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla are entertaining and fresh. We need more such movies so that so called normalcy can be negated.
